D - Production Processes:
In the example of how Radio Cambridgeshire present their show during the live production phase, they focus towards a more older audience. The pre production production phase with the music that they tend to use are set on older classics, nothing too old but more focused in the 60's, 70's and 80's. The news they present, while they show the big stories still, when it comes to the less important news they pander to a older audience by talking about local news that contain information of a local event that can just be dedicated to a certain type of flowers. And they use this in their favor by allowing them to get lots of local guests on the phone to talk about these local events. The station also like to do little competitions, but with the competition and reward being more low scale and are focused on little objects and contraptions that can make life a little easier; rather than other radio shows dedicated at a younger audience where they give rewards such as big holidays and large cash payouts. And through the post production phase they then upload each program record by each presenter after their segment is completed onto the Radio Cambridge website.
E - Market Share:
The Market Share which Radio Cambridgeshire holds from all of Cambridge is 5.6% of it's population. Cambridge's population regarding the census from 2011 is 123,900, but from the media.info website it says that 763,000 of Cambridge's population has been covered from listening to the show. From this we can identify the Cambridge population has grown increasingly since the last census, especially since 91,000 are recorded to listen to Radio Cambridgeshire per week. As well as 9.9 hours per week from each individual listener, and 895,000 hours from the 5.6% market share per week.
