Since our Pre-recorded Vox Pops and Interviews were focused on College students in a College environment we followed the BBC guidance rules for when doing broadcasting in a School / College environment. When filming on location issues such as a lack of knowledge of the area can cause issues since if being unknown of doors and exits could lead to time being wasted and possible endangerment if any form of attack would happen to the School. To ensure on decreasing these possible dangers and inconsistencies we made sure we had someone with knowledge on area if any of these problems were to occur. Other issues can occur from the student being interviewed as some may display anti-social behaviour which could lead to yelling or possibly broken equipment. To decrease this from happening we ensured on approaching only people who would be comfortable with being recorded by asking them, and approached them with a friendly manner. They may also come issue where some students are not allowed to be recorded for legal reasons, we ensured on asking if they were allowed and comfortable to be recorded and took no further action if the student was not allowed to be recorded.

My Contribution
My role in this Broadcast was News Reader where I was to presented and read of the latest and relevant news during the Broadcast. I was also responsible for creating and looking over the sounds and jingle for when I present the news. I also wrote my part alongside the help from the Assistant Producer for the News segment, we work together on finding news articles and relevant news that could appeal to our target audience for our Radio Show. I enjoyed creating this Broadcast with a group of people as It allowed me to open up my circle of trust and allow myself to count on other better rather than leaving it down to myself. It made a healthier and happier approach to creating the broadcast and I enjoyed everyones contributions that they made themselves to the group.
